How do I search for library items online?
You can search for books, DVDs, audiobooks and more using the online library catalogue, called TRACpac. On your mobile device, dowload the free TRACpac App for Apple or Android.
How do I view my account online?
Visit the library catalogue at www.tracpac.ab.ca and login using the barcode number from your library card and your PIN.
How do I renew my library items?
Items may be renewed up to two times, as long as there are no holds on the items. Items may be renewed in person, by phone, online, or through the TRACpac App.

How do I access eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and MP3 music?

I forgot my PIN/Password, what do I do?
Your PIN/Password is the last 4 digits of your phone number, unless you have changed it. If you are unsure of your PIN/Password, click the I fogot my password link in TRACpac, or contact your library.
What is the Marigold Library System?
Marigold is a collaborative of 42 municipalities in south-central Alberta providing progressive library services for over 250,000 residents. Headquarters is located in Strathmore, Alberta, Canada.
Marigold has 37 member libraries and also maintains 13 paperback deposits located in small communities. Residents do not require a library card to borrow from a deposit collection, which includes best sellers. Gently used books may be donated by community members. The deposits work on an honour system. This map shows the location of Member Libraries and Paperback Deposits within Marigold's region.

TRAC is a partnership of four regional library systems (Marigold Library System, Yellowhead Library System, Peace Library System, and Northern Lights Library System) and their member public libraries. TRACpac is the shared online catalogue for this partnership. As a member of Marigold you have access to nearly 3 million items.
What is RISE?
Southern Alberta communities of all sizes are linked together in a public library-based videoconference network known as RISE (Rural Information Services InitiativE), which reaches more than 500,000 people in 89 municipalities through 79 public libraries and three regional library headquarters. Three Library Systems formed this partnership to create and sustain the RISE videoconferencing network. Read more about RISE and see events going on at libraries across Alberta and at your own!

TAL stands for The Alberta Library. TAL is an award-winning consortium of 49 member libraries in over 300 locations whose mission is strengthening communities through collaboration. Members include public, university, college, technical institute and special libraries. Read more about TAL.
